Chama a atenção o bonézinho do Nelson.

I really like this pic. It’s one of not so many photos avaliable that contains ST on the beach. And the scenario shouldn’t be so rare, for we’re talking about a band formed and raised in Venice Beach, the place they are really related to. I’m not sure who shot the pic, but it was probably Glen Friedman.
Even is there aren’t so many ST photos in their natural habitat, they are still terrific, though. What shall we say about the one that’s in the cover of their first album, that was released 10 years later for Still Cyco?
This pic was probably shot next to the Venice pier, standing in the stones, you can see Muir, Nelson and Mayorga – zoom on the splash caused by a wave, on the right corner.
The 1983-84 line-up dug a spot in the scene for Suicidal. Carryin’ a discredit debut album, also against the discredit of the media, sewing disagreements with other bands and avoiding the hate and the violence brought by the gangs.
Nelson’s tiny cap is another thing to pay attention – back then, those werer always drawned by hand. Later, this ‘style’ would turn out to be the ST symbol and become a fever among the fans wearing trucker hats in the ‘80s.
